Company Overview
The company was established in 1991 and is principally involved in the manufacturing of component parts for the air conditioning industry and specializing in the fabrication of a wide range of Copper Tube Components, Blowers & Fans and Heat Exchanger Coils.
Responsibilities:
- To plan for purchasing daily function & operation
- To take charge of material planning
- To take charge for material sourcing, procurement & cost down program
- Involved in supplier selection & evaluation
- To take charge of importing procedures
- To ensure compliance to ISO 9001: 2000 and SOPP
- Fully in charge for material planning, assist by Purchaser
- Continuously sourcing of new material & new supplier to ensure better quality & cost
- To ensure sufficient material to support in house production & customer
- To monitor for incoming shipment from oversea
- To monitor for supplier’s delivery and ensure suppliers meet company’s requirement on lead time, quality, cost and services
- To seek and source for better alternative material and liaise with suppliers for cost down
- To take charge for custom affairs as required by The Malaysian Trade classification & Custom Duties Order including Import Duties, Export Duties, Sales Tax, Import License (AP), Export License (AP) etc
- To in charge for application & renewal of Tax/Duty exemption
- To seek improvement in purchasing method and operation
- Any other roles and responsibilities assigned from time to time
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma holder with minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing & procurement
- Good team work, good communication skills, responsible and well organized
- Good knowledge of Inventory Management
- Good negotiation skills
- Good understanding of ISO Quality System
- Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (added advantage)
- Willing to work in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am to 6pm
