Company Overview
The company was first established in 2000, focusing on general construction works in Government, Semi-Government and Private development sectors. Over the years, the company has developed into a well diversified corporation involved mainly in construction, agriculture and plantation businesses, with more than 70 projects in 15 years including Building, Infrastructure and Bridge works, LRT stations, Road and Earth works.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare payments, monitor bank accounts’ transactions, reconciliations, etc.
- Ensure accurate transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system.
- Prepare monthly closing of accounts including GL journal entries.
- Maintain accounting records and filing as per standard procedures and requirements.
- Liaise with auditors and tax agents on annual statutory audits, GST submissions, preparation of tax computations and returns.
- Other duties assigned as required.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field
- Basic accounting and tax compliance knowledge
- Knowledge in UBS Accounting and ability to handle full set of account is an added advantage.
- Good working attitude, interpersonal skills and team player
- Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
- Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage)
- Willing to work in Seksyen 7, Shah Alam
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
