This Thai cuisine restaurant is a premier dining establishment, created in collaboration with an internationally acclaimed chef who has achieved remarkable success, including earning a Michelin Star and securing top rankings in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list. The restaurant is pork-free but serves alcohol.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and train staff, providing guidance on service standards and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock management.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and satisfaction.
- Support in maintaining health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Assist in the planning and execution of promotional events and special functions.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient communication and service flow.
- Help with scheduling and staff management to optimize team performance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and customer service principles
- Candidates will be offered a chance to undergo training with an internationally acclaimed chef who owns a Michelin Star restaurant in Thailand.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Proficient in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
- Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (added advantage)
- Willing to work in Georgetown, Penang.
