Responsibilities:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing the menu, focusing on traditional and modern Thai dishes.<\/li>\n
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, presentation standards, and food safety regulations.<\/li>\n
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and quality control.<\/li>\n
Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new dishes and seasonal menus that highlight Thai culinary techniques and ingredients.<\/li>\n
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.<\/li>\n
Monitor food costs and waste, assisting in budget management and inventory ordering.<\/li>\n
Step in for the Head Chef as needed, providing leadership and support to the kitchen team.<\/li>\n
Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Requirements<\/u><\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, preferably with a focus on Thai cuisine.<\/li>\n
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.<\/li>\n
Candidates will be offered a chance to undergo training with an internationally acclaimed chef who owns a Michelin Star restaurant in Thailand.<\/li>\n
In-depth knowledge of Thai cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles.<\/li>\n
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.<\/li>\n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.<\/li>\n
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.<\/li>\n
Passion for Thai food and a desire to share that passion with others.<\/li>\n
Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (added advantage)<\/li>\n
