Responsibilities:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes, including but not limited to Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese cuisines.<\/li>\n
Oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.<\/li>\n
Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and refine menu offerings.<\/li>\n
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, including Commis Chefs, in Asian cooking techniques.<\/li>\n
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.<\/li>\n
Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering of specialty Asian ingredients and supplies.<\/li>\n
Contribute to the creative development of new dishes and seasonal menus.<\/li>\n
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Requirements<\/u><\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A minimum 1 years\u2019 experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a restaurant specializing in Asian cuisine.<\/li>\n
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.<\/li>\n
Strong knowledge of Asian cooking techniques and flavour profiles.<\/li>\n
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail.<\/li>\n
Excellent communication and leadership skills.<\/li>\n
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.<\/li>\n
Passion for Thai cuisine and a willingness to innovate.<\/li>\n
Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (added advantage)<\/li>\n
Willing to work in Georgetown, Penang.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
