Company Overview
The company is a leading crop protection company that produces, distributes and market agrochemicals. They focus on providing complete crop solutions to farmers in Malaysia. Their business covers full range of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and fertilisers.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary gatekeeper for brand development within the region.
- Ensure alignment of regional brand strategy with global directives, providing guidance to local teams to maintain consistency in brand positioning and messaging.
- Collaborate with country teams to drive communication related to marketing plan activities, ensuring they align with overall brand objectives.
- Oversee and provide direction for all brand-building activities, ensuring a cohesive approach across all markets in the region and alignment with the Global Digital Strategy and Content.
- Develop and guide the partner regional marketing agency to enhance brand initiatives.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of brand development initiatives, offering insights and adjustments to optimize impact.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies.
- Report directly to the Global Marketing Head on progress and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
- Candidate must possess experience in managing brand consistency across multiple markets.
- Knowledge of demand generation tactics, including digital marketing, advertising, and content marketing.
- Ability to create and oversee campaigns that drive awareness and generate leads.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with teams across different countries.
- Proven leadership skills to manage regional teams and guide country-level brand managers.
- Experience in working collaboratively across functions (e.g., sales, product development, marketing).
- Ability to interpret data and adjust strategies for improved outcomes.
- Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges in brand alignment, market penetration, or demand generation.
- Ability to develop strategies that align the brand with customer expectations to foster loyalty.
- Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese.
- Willing to work in Desa Parkcity, Kuala Lumpur.
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
