Company Overview
The company started its business in the Klang Valley as a wholesaler and distributor of PC components and peripheral products. Founded 1994, the company has grown steadily and strongly into a reputable market leader, with close to RM 65 million of sales in 2011 and a team of more than 60 outstanding personnel.
Responsibilities:
- To assist day to day accounting functions included manage data entry and process journal to ensure all business transactions (i.e. AR, AP, CB & GL) are recorded on timely basis
- Responsible for daily sales transactions
- Responsible for checking expenses, and staff claims
- Debtor collection, accounts receivable and generate weekly collection report
- To keep track of relevant documents, record and proper filing
- To prepare month-end reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts
- To generate some sales reports, fixed asset report
- To assist daily operational duties and perform any others ad-hoc accounting assignments as assigned by superior from time to time
- Monthly financial report generate & yearly audit preparation
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting related fields
- Detail-oriented and passionate in Accounting
- Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (added advantage)
- Willing to work in Kapar, Selangor
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm; Saturday (alternate), 9am to 1pm
