Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing budgets for procurement activities, ensuring alignment with overall financial goals and strategies.
  • Conducting cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, recommend cost-effective solutions, and monitor procurement spending.
  • Managing supplier contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, pricing agreements, and performance metrics.
  • Identifying and assessing financial risks associated with procurement activities, implementing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Monitoring cash flow related to procurement transactions, optimizing payment terms, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely payments to suppliers.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations, including tax laws, accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Providing financial data and analysis related to procurement activities, preparing reports for management review, and contributing to financial forecasting and planning.
  • Generating purchase orders, tracking delivery schedules, and verifying invoices for accuracy.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, forecasting demand, and collaborating with other departments to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing holding costs.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma holder with minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing & procurement
  • Good team work, good communication skills, responsible and well organized
  • Good knowledge of Inventory Management
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of ISO Quality System
  • Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (added advantage)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Willing to work in Johor Bahru
  • Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 9.00am to 6.00pm
