The organisation is specialized in manufacturing high precision metal stamping parts for electrical and electronics industries. It is equipped with the latest high technology machines. In order to produce high quality products, all the staffs are trained to be highly skilful and competent.
Responsibilities:
- To supervise and manage resources in the daily production to achieve production target, quality, cycle time goals and output.
- Carry out manpower planning to meet shipment commitment and escalate attendance issues immediately to department head.
- To control and minimize wastage of raw materials on manufacturing floor and report on adversities affecting the production.
- Training and follow up new operator and train subordinates as and when required.
- To ensure that the production operators are following the work instructions.
- Interact with relevant departments to ensure smooth manufacturing flow.
- Provide feedback and corrective action if manufacturing is not meeting production quality standard.
- Responsible to ensure the continuous production & delivery of high quality, profitability services to the customers.
- Enforcement of production employees’ discipline to ensure total compliance to company rules and regulation.
- Monitor production employee’s performance and ensure smooth operation.
- Boost production employee’s morale and motive them to achieve company’s objectives.
- Prepare & review daily production report, attendance & shift roster.
- Carry out lean activities as planned and benchmark all good practices to be implemented into production line.
- Attend to all assigned undertaking whenever required.
- Ensure subordinates are well disciplined, production safety and maintain good housekeeping (5S) at production line time to time.
- Assist in obtaining activities related to Quality Management System, Environmental System and Product Environmental within his/her departmental organization.
- Ensure principle of FIFO is applied.
- Drive achievement of Quality Objective, Quality Policy and Departmental Objectives through communicate understood and implement within departmental organization
- To carry out any other or ad- hoc duties, which may or will be assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess a minimum Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Graduate Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory or managerial role dealing with high volume production
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic production environment
- Proactive, resourceful and able to multitask with sense of urgency
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Required Language: Bahasa Malaysia, English
- Willing to work in Telok Gong, Port Klang
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm; Saturday, 8.00am to 12.30pm
