Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Officer/Executive – Shah Alam, Selangor

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SHE policies and procedures.
  • Manage the SHE Committee and facilitate regular meetings.
  • Conduct and coordinate risk assessments (HIRARC), routine safety and environmental audits and assessments.
  • Lead and coordinate incident investigation and ensure timely closure of incident reports with corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with Company and legal SHE regulations (OSHA 1994, EQA 1974, Fire Service 1988, etc) and ensure stay updated on relevant latest amendment.
  • Develop, coordinate and conduct SHE training matrix and program for employees at all levels.
  • Promote a culture of safety, health, and environmental awareness within the organization.
  • Monitor and analyse SHE performance metrics and provide reports to senior management.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies (BOMBA, DOE & DOSH) and ensure timely submission of required reports (mykkp and e-SWIS).
  • Oversee the maintenance and replenishment of safety equipment and supplies.
  • Liaise with headquarters for latest best practices and requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate SHE considerations into business operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certification by DOSH/NIOSH will be added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SHE management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of SHE legal requirement and relevant ICOPs’.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct training sessions and presentations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage)
  • Willing to work in Shah Alam
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm
