The company is a freight forwarding company with offices in Malaysia and Singapore, providing one-stop logistics services. Its services include air and sea freight, road transport, warehousing, packing and transloading, customs clearance and marine cargo insurance, supported by a worldwide agency network.
Responsibilities
- Canvassing and bring in local and overseas customers/ agents.
- Following up on their enquiries and arrangement of shipments.
- Liaising between our internal office team and customers/ agents.
- Plan, execute and achieve sales target.
- Responsible for sales revenue and expanding new account base.
- To attend to customers feedback/ complaints, and follow up with after sales service.
- To act as the customers' main point of contact by liaising closely with the relevant departments to ensure that their queries, problems or issues are dealt with appropriately.
- Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting.
- To build & maintain good customer relations by consistently communicating and following up with after sales service.
- Develop new business opportunity with new clients.
- To follow up with customers on payment collection.
- Aggressive, customer-focused & result-oriented with good clientele base.
- Proactive, self-motivated, highly independent as well as a good team player.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation & time management skills.
- To carry out any additional work-related duties as per Business Development Director's instruction.
- Focus on sales, with no operations or documentation work required.
Requirements
- Min Diploma in Sales/Marketing/Logistics or its equivalent.
- Min 1 year experience in Sea / Air / Project Freight Forwarding.
- Able to secure new account/customers through cold-callings & other contacts.
- Possess good spoken and written English skills with the ability to communicate with Chinese/Mandarin speaking clients & working associates.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm.
- Must clock in to office every day.
- Willing to work in Kota Damansara / Klang.
- Willing to travel.
