Responsibilities
- Develop and implement export strategies and objectives aligned with the company's goals.
- Lead, motivate, and guide the export team to achieve export targets.
- Set performance goals, monitor performance, and provide guidance to team members.
- Oversee all aspects of export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipping coordination.
- Ensure timely and efficient handling of international shipments.
- Collaborate with logistics partners and carriers to optimize export processes.
- Stay updated on international trade regulations, export laws, and customs requirements.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation standards.
- Implement necessary controls to meet regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their export needs are met.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance service quality.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collect, analyze, and report export data, including shipment volumes, compliance rates, and revenue.
- Make data-driven recommendations for improving export performance.
- Generate regular reports for senior management and the Directors.
- Recruit, train, and manage the export team, providing guidance and professional development.
- Conduct performance evaluations, create development plans, and foster a high-performance work culture.
- Streamline workflow and monitor progress to ensure efficient export operations.
- Identify and collaborate with key external providers, partners, and service providers in the export process.
- Negotiate terms and agreements to optimize export services and costs.
- Ensure all service providers meet quality and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or higher level.
- 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this role.
- Freight forwarding experience is essential.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and export documentation.
- Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Melayu & Chinese.
- Pleasant personality and good attitude towards work.
- Ability to multi-task, good communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills required.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm.
- Willing to work in Bandar Puteri Klang, Selangor.
