The company is a well-known Malaysian manufacturer that has been a leader in the plastic packaging industry since 1977. Based in a large facility in Port Klang, it produces a huge volume of everyday items like shopping bags and garbage bags for both local supermarkets and overseas markets.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic market expansion and establish a strong track record of closing B2B deals.
- Manage senior client relationships independently and handle end-to-end account management.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and secure attractive pricing structures.
- Travel for client meetings to maintain active business development presence.
- Provide customer service by answering to customer enquiries via email, phone and fax.
- Familiarizing yourself with all products and services offered by our company.
- Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
- Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
- Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices.
- Responsible for receiving sales order (PO/Contract) from oversea/local customer.
- Prepare Performa Invoice for export and domestic sales order.
- Maintaining a good relationship and service with 'zero' service failure to internal & external customers.
- Provide details of packing to purchaser and issue the Order Advice (OA) to production planner.
- Responsible to prepare Invoice and Packing list to customer for outgoing shipments and local delivery order & invoice.
- Responsible for coordinating customer feedback or complaints with the respective departments.
- To handle shipping, freight forwarding and all other matters pertaining to sales and production.
- To handle local delivery and all other matters pertaining to sales and production.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
Requirements
- Min 3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Min Diploma in Business or Marketing or equivalent.
- Have good team spirit and can work with minimum supervision.
- Posses with strong customer service mindset, good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good personality, able to communicate with all level of personnel and good co-operation. Able to work independent and good personality.
- Must be computer literate.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Must possess a valid driving license and own transport, with a willingness to travel for client meetings.
